Trees for Troops 2015 Needs your help

Join us in our 8th year for TREES FOR TROOPS! 

This year we will continue our tradition of putting a Christmas Tree into every Wounded Warriors room, as well as throughout the hospitals common areas DEC 5th 2015. Sign up here. (Please see note at the bottom for coming to the location)  We will also be decorating the halls and the main lobbies and sending our elves (grade school children) door to door to hand out candy canes and spread Christmas cheer.  Finally, if we gather enough Christmas stockings we will hang them for the Warriors as well.

Please let us know if you would like to donate to our program!  We are also in need of volunteers to spread the message and collect donations.

Many people all over the world would love to bless the Wounded Warriors at Landstuhl if they knew how.

Please feel free to pass this on to your children’s teachers, church groups, scout troops, booster clubs, professional organizations, friends and family.

Items needed:

Small Christmas trees- less than 3ft tall (no lights) -need aprox 60 this year.
Handmade Ornaments -
Christmas cards
Hall decorations, handmade banners, cut out snowflakes etc.
Ornament hooks
Packing tape, scotch tape, yarn, scissors,
Candy Canes
1 transformer

Not Allowed:
Christmas lights
candles
glass ornaments

All items will need to be mailed to our organization by November 28th 2015.

This is a wonderful opportunity for families to volunteer together! We ask that each family sign up for only 1 hour.
This will give more families and opportunity to participate.

Please arrive 10 min before your scheduled hour. This is very important!  Please be mindful of your time slot and make sure that you collect your children and depart at the end of your hour.

Please bring an item(s) to donate during your time slot:

Small Christmas Tree
Handmade Ornaments
Hall Decor
Snack for staff

If you have a small Child under age 3 they must be in a backpack/carried - For the safety of your children and the wounded warriors!  
Strollers will not work at this location as there are many stairs/narrow hallways.  
There is also no play area on site.

Items can be dropped off at the Burger King parking lot on Ramstein Air Base  Dec 4th 2014 12-1pm
or email treesfortroops@gmail.com for alternative drop off times.

Trees for Troops 2012-- HUGE Sucess!

Thanks to everyone who participated in TREES FOR TROOPS this year!

We received so many great decorations! We are so grateful for each unit, group, church, family that sent packages, and stayed to help decorate and deliver! Can you see some of the decor you sent below???
